Atwood is co-founder, owner, and lead personal trainer of Eagle Peak Fitness. A lifelong competition athlete, Beth h
as more than two decades of experience in fitness management and personal training. A personal trainer since 1987, Beth holds two degrees – in Exercise Science and Recreation – from Bridgewater State College. Prior to Eagle Peak Fitness, her extensive experience in fitness management and training includes senior positions at Gold’s Gym in Bridgewater, Mass., and Weymouth Club in Weymouth, Mass. Beth also founded and served as head trainer of Street Physique, a personal training business based East Bridgewater, Mass. Beth has been a member of numerous athletic and fitness-related organizations, including USA Powerlifting, the United States Powerlifting Federation, the New England American College Sports Medicine Association, and the National Youth Sports Safety Foundation. A competitive powerlifter since 1983, Beth took first place in the 1985 Teenage Nationals and has been winning competitions and setting powerlifting records ever since in state, national, and world competitions. She is six-time National Champion for her weight class and won the right six times to represent Team U.S.A. at the World Powerlifting Championships, where she won a Bronze medal in 1996. Beth still holds powerlifting records in Massachusetts and nationally. |
