Free Weights

Eagle Peak’s Spacious Facility for Serious Resistance Training


Eagle Peak has gone to great lengths to create a comfortable, welcoming free weight environment – for both women and men, for both novice and experienced weightlifters. Our spacious free weight room provides ample maneuverability around the equipment, and our expert staff offers the guidance our members require for safe and effective use of the equipment.

With over 2,000 lbs of free weights, Eagle Peak’s free weight room includes a complete array of equipment, including:

  • Flat benches as well as incline and decline benches for chest workouts

  • Military press (for shoulder presses)

  • Smith machine – a self-supporting barbell rack that eliminates the need for a spotter – used for squats, bench presses, shoulder presses, dead lifts, lunges, and other workouts

  • Body Craft power rack, a multi-unit machine that provides the ability to do lateral pull downs, pushdowns, chest, and cable cross-overs

  • Dumbbells – ranging from 3 pounds to 100 pounds – and Nautilus power dumbbells (sometimes called “dial-a-dumbbells”) that dial from 5 to 55 pounds.

  • Magnum standing calf machine
